Greenlight Planet combines cutting-edge technology with innovative distribution networks to commercialize low-power LED lanterns. The direct to village model is currently focused on rural off-grid, rural, and peri urban neighborhoods in Bihar and Orissa, India. These are two of India’s poorest states, with 46.6% of persons in Orissa live below the poverty line, 41.4% in Bihar.
